Is This For You?
The people I work best with aren't looking for someone to manage their body for them. They're looking for a way to better understand it. They're willing to observe, ask questions, and explore new approaches to movement.
Over time, that process builds confidence and helps them make informed decisions about their own body. No matter your starting point, there is always room to grow.
You might be a great fit if...
You want to understand your body—not just follow instructions.
You don't want someone telling you exactly where your foot goes forever. You want to understand why something works so you can make good decisions on your own.
You're curious.
You enjoy learning.
You ask questions.
You like understanding how things work.
You'd rather build skills than chase quick fixes.
You know lasting change comes from learning, practice, and consistency—not magic techniques.
You've tried exercise, yoga, or physical therapy before...
...but the results didn't stick because every body is different. You're looking for someone who helps you adapt movement to your body instead of asking your body to fit a standard program.
You're willing to participate in the process.
I won't "fix" your body.
We'll work together to help discover, and then overcome, the everyday habits that block your body's natural efforts to heal.
I'm the coach, but you have to play the game.
You want more than just another list of exercises.
More and more exercises won't fix you.
Many people come to yoga therapy looking for the "right" exercise. But an exercise is only a tool. The difference is often in how you do it.

The same movement done by two people can be a completely different experience depending on their anatomy, daily habits, and history.

We will explore not only how you practice during a session, but also how you move through your daily life—because the way you bend, lift, sit, walk, climb stairs, and walk the dog shapes your body far more than a few minutes of exercise.

"I thought the exercise was the answer. I didn't realize the way I do the exercise—and how I move all day—is the intervention."
"I want to get past the pain. I want to return to yoga without fear."
"I want to trust my body again. I need to understand why this keeps happening."

This may NOT be the best fit if...
-
You're looking primarily for hands-on treatment rather than an active, collaborative approach.
-
You're looking for a standard exercise program rather than one adapted to your individual body.
-
You're looking for a fast-paced or traditional yoga class rather than an individualized therapeutic practice.
-
You're looking for exercises alone, rather than changing how you move, sit and stand through your day.
-
You're not ready to examine or gradually change long-standing movement habits.
-
You're not interested in experimenting, adapting your approach, or paying attention to your body's feedback.
