The Yoga Map LLC/Sarah Westbrook, C-IAYT Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Please know that I value both your time and our time. When we set up an appointment, class or workshop, I dedicate time to focus on your needs, as well as spending time in advance to prepare. This allows me to come to the appointment, class or workshop ready and to give you the best possible service.

​

Once your appointment, class or workshop is booked, that time or spot is reserved exclusively for you. This means that it is often impossible for me to fill that spot if you cancel. Lost income from cancellations is very hard for a small business like mine.

I understand emergencies happen and you might need to cancel or reschedule. If something should arise and you do need to cancel, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule via text message at 847-544-9571. If you do not have access to texting, then email me at theyogamap@gmail.com.

To avoid being charged a cancellation fee, please make sure you notify me of your cancellation at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment, class or workshop.

There are no refunds for cancellations requested within 24 hours of your appointment, class or workshop. The cancellation fee is 100% of the service cost.

Exception for Yoga/Yoga Therapy Privates: If you or an immediate family member has a medical emergency, or weather makes travel dangerous or impossible, I waive the cancellation fee if you are able to reschedule your appointment later the same week at a mutually agreeable time. If you know that you may need to frequently cancel, please discuss your situation ahead of time with me. I recommend booking your appointments earlier in the week to have options for rescheduling.

Frequent cancellations: If you frequently cancel with less than 24 hour notice (more than 3 times within 3 months), full payment is required 48 hours prior to the time of service. After the third cancellation within three months, if you then cancel again for any reason (even the above mentioned excepted reasons), you will be charged 100% of the service cost.

Reminder about Package Pricing:

I offer package pricing to encourage consistent practice, not to just offer lower prices to those that can afford to pay in advance. Yoga Privates purchased as part of a package need to be used within 5 weeks of the first appointment of that package. Unused privates after 5 weeks are not refundable. If you are unsure of your schedule's capacity to handle 4 privates within 5 weeks, I recommend purchasing privates a la carte.
