Yoga Therapy is different.

Most people aren’t struggling with exercise. They’re struggling with instruction that wasn’t designed for their body.

In many exercise programs and yoga classes, you're expected to fit yourself into generic movements and protocols.

Yoga Therapy with Sarah Westbrook is different.

Together, you'll discover how your body moves, adapting movements and cues to fit your unique anatomy, history, and goals.

Through individualized guidance, you'll develop movement literacy—the confidence to move with greater ease, clarity, and resilience.

Yoga Therapy is Individualized & Safe.

You will be Heard.

There is no one like you. What hasn't worked for you is just as important as what has. Sarah is here to hear it all: the accidents, falls, injuries, losses, setbacks, and successes.

Your body has a story to tell, and that story shapes how you move today. Honoring and acknowledging that is the first step toward meaningful change.

You will be Seen.

Many people have never had someone deeply observe how they move. Sarah has nearly three decades of experience assessing movement and postural patterns.

Rather than asking whether a movement is "right" or "wrong," she'll help uncover why your body organizes movement the way it does—and what options may better support your goals.

No generic protocols.

Generic movement cues don't work equally well for every body.

Sarah has customized yoga practices for hundreds of students—from those unable to get down to the floor to ultramarathon runners, and every level of fitness in between.

There are principles every body shares—but every body expresses them differently and therefore requires an individualized approach.

Find Your Way

Understanding your body is a process of discovery. Progress is rarely linear; the body often takes a winding path, revealing new mysteries along the way.

Sarah will help you navigate the terrain, develop sustainable practices, and discover a path forward that truly fits your body and your life.

The exercise is only a tool.

The way you move is what creates change

Many people come to yoga therapy looking for the "right" exercise. But lasting change comes from learning how your body responds, adapting movement to your needs, and bringing those skills into everyday life.

Discern, Accept, Adapt.

Some days your body invites challenge. Other days it asks for recovery. Learning to notice the difference—without judgment or fear—is what allows movement to become sustainable.

Many people were never taught how to feel what their body is doing—only how to ignore it or push past it.
